Auditing Employee Data for Corrupt/Incomplete or Missing Records.

CLIENT BUSINESS REQUIREMENT:

Employee assignment and employment records in Ceridian Dayforce had been created or updated incorrectly. This caused numerous problems with reporting, integrations, and exports. We needed to identify the impacted employees and resolve.

SOLUTION:

Bow Common Solutions created ad-hoc Dayforce reports to identify data issues based on parameters the user could specify each time they ran the report. This allowed for either a broad or granular extract of data. In each case we documented the number of impacted employees, proposed the steps to correct the errors and provided best practices for the client to use going forward to avoid these issues in the future. Below are 2 examples:

1. Work Assignment Effective Start Date = Work Assignment Effective End Date:

- The ad-hoc report identified these records, and a mass update was done to correct them.

2. Multiple Work Assignments Effective and End Date within 4 Days:

- A custom report was written to identify effective and end date records within an end user

defined timeframe: identify all data where the start date is with x days of the end date.

- A mass employee update was done to correct the dates.
